What to do? What to do?

So I have had this wall in my kitchen that I could never figure out what to do with (very frustrating).
Any who I was at this local home decor store that is closing, I'm so sad but I got a killer deal on this salad plate rack it was normally $15 and is was on sale for 50% off so i paid $7.50 YAY!! But the question know is how do i accessorize?

So I found this sort of funky plates at Anthropologie, but I'm sorry I know i'm crazy cheep but I can't bring myself around to paying $18 for a small dessert plate, so on to plan B.

Off to Home Goods I go. While there I found this fabulous platter and super cute frame. Yes I did take this picture on the floor of the store, I know classy.

But alas the dorky side has to come through, when I came home to my surprise the platter was to tall (of course). On to plan C, I didn't want to spend anymore money so time to get crafty. I then drove to the paper store and found some delightful paper that I thought, "I could do something with this".

I decoupaged the paper to an old white salad plate I had sitting around, If you need a "how to" on this please comment and I'll do another post on decoupaging a plate it's super easy. At the paper store I also found a cute piece of paper to put in the frame.

Finally the final product which I think turned out super cute and fun.

By the way, you maybe asking yourself what did she do this that super cute platter. I put it on a picture stand in one of the corners of my kitchen, it was way to cute to not display.
